Koetzle outside/hidden money might be coming from past contributors of his previous 2 failed outside attempts running for office in 2002/2003 for Sch'dy City Council and County Clerk. (before his recent move to Glenville to run with the slogan "Focus On Glenville?") Or, maybe he is still running for a future office at Country level and they are donating the money for signs and name recognition to blanket every major road each two years? It is strange that outside money would be so interested in a local Glenville election for a man that has served less than two years of his four year term. Quinn Team's money comes from Glenville and Scotia because they truly are focused on Glenville.

The above anonymous add has been appearing recently supporting C. Koetzle by attempting to spread misinformation about Frank Quinn, his 2010 proposed budget, and his voting record. The first point to note is that only a coward is afraid to sign his name when spreading such lies.

Second, Frank Quinn and Ed Rosenberg were out voted 3-2 on the 2009 budget when they kept their promise to fight for you by stopping spending increases and higher taxes. The Koetzle budget which passed increased spending by $930,000 (+9%), increased Taxes by $219,000+ (+4.4%), and removed $688,000+ from the emergency savings account. All these numbers can be confirmed by obtaining a copy of the budget or reading it here on this website.

Third, reference to STEALTH tax increases involving water/sewer bills vaguely seems to reference particular water/sewer districts who were previously able to shift their costs to all town residents. Frank Quinn stopped this practice because it was unfair for every town resident to be subsidizing the expenses of individual districts. He instituted a plan where those creating the cost will pay for it themselves without passing it on to others who are not receiving the benefit.

F
ourth, reference to depleting the town's emergency savings is meant to confuse voters who do not know the actual voting records. Frank Quinn voted against the $688,000+ increased depletion in the 2009 budget but was out voted by Koetzle. He has consistently voted against any increased spending and continually argued for keeping our savings at stable levels to cover emergencies.

Koetzle supporters must spend money spreading misinformation to busy voters who do not have time to investigate all the details because Koetzle can not win on his voting record. Such ads call for a change in leadership back to what we had before Frank Quinn when taxes were increased 49% and the savings account was over spent. It is true this would be a new direction from the past 4 years. If you want to keep spending down then keep Frank Quinn as your experienced leader who fights for the average citizen against the special interest groups (who pay for ads like the one above).

Please inform your fellow voters about this type of misinformation. The strategy by such anonymous special interest groups is that they can use their money to confuse voters and cheat to win an election. If they win, then the common hard working citizen loses. Please help to fight back against such lies and distortions.

Clown shares TRUTH! (not paid for or endorsed by Quinn)

Koetzle's only budget vote approved $930,000+ spending increase.

His promises sound wonderful, but his voting record does not match!

Police Back Koetzle & Union Contract Up - Daily Gazette Oct 29

The Police Union Contract is up this year. They are giving major contributions to Koetzle? Police salary and benefits consume the largest portion in our the town budget with the average officer making $102,000 in pay & benefits.

They know that Quinn will hold down the budget fighting for the common citizen by cutting spending and holding down taxes. Police know that their best bet for higher salaries and benefits come from Koetzle because he voted in last year's budget to increase spending by $930,000+ over the previous year.

This is a major ethical issue when it comes to special interest groups forcing the common citizens to pay for their benefits. Quinn has fought for you in the past and will fight for you in the future. The police know Quinn will fight for you which is why they are putting so much money behind Koetzle.
